THE BRIEF
Finding a beautiful serene location in which our client was able to focus on what really matters – looking outside of work and saying Hello to the World! Our client wanted to provide their team with perspective and insight, with a seamless 3 day conference close to London for 110 delegates from their UK & European offices. Bringing together teams from around the World we were also tasked with ensuring that the warmest of welcomes were provided for the EU teams.
DELIVERY
We sourced the stunning Wotton House Hotel residing in the picturesque Surrey town of Dorking. This little oasis in the heart of the countryside was only an hour outside of London and therefore convenient for the teams arriving in from various airports around London. We arranged for transport using a local, trusted company to Dorking, ensuring that wherever possible we provide business for the local community.
With the Abbi&me team on site from the Sunday night, our guests arrived on Monday afternoon to a fully set Conference space with stunning displays from Bubblegum Balloons & our AV team on hand ready to begin the opening presentations with a delicious and hearty working dinner. We organised for 3 incredible speakers for conference day 2 to inspire and motivate the team; the likes of Laura Try (Atlantic Rower), Caroline Criado Perez (Author and Inspirational Data Analyst) and Paul Conroy (respected war Journalist, Filmmaker and Photographer).
We then approached the evening on Day 2 – and the Abbi&me team were quick to work on ensuring all was running smoothly; from the large scale team VR for all 110 delegates to the black-tie dinner in the stunning surrounds of the Old Library. With the photobooth backdrop on brand from Bubblegum, large balloon table centres and a beautiful garland adorning the entrance to the room, our guests entered a truly stunning space to see out a fantastic 2 days conference.
RESULTS
Our client arriving in from around Europe were transported to the peace and tranquillity of this beautiful countryside residence. With quietude and exclusive use, the team had the physical and mental space to focus on what mattered; understanding that there is more to life than work. By placing work within the wider context of the teams’ life, the supporting event production enabled the delegates to enjoy the few days away, partaking in the spar, the games, the speakers and the music and sumptuous dinner and photograph memories to take away. As well as in the understanding that their workplace has their interests and wellbeing at the core of their outlook to the business.
