THE BRIEF
Back in 2014, we were asked by a group of doctors to help organise a one-off event to raise money for a newly formed charity, The Head & Neck Cancer Foundation. Little did we know that 5 years on, this, now annual event, has raised over £600,000 for charity.
DELIVERY
The format of the event sees media executives put through a rigorous training programme in preparation for the fight night. On the evening, they go head-to-head in a series of boxing matches, whilst their families, friends and colleagues cheer on from ringside.
Most recently the event has been held at the Westminster Park Plaza Hotel. We erected a temporary boxing ring in the centre of their Westminster Ballroom. The event is formal black tie and so we surround the ring with elegantly dressed tables with beautiful centrepieces and branded event programmes.
Guests are welcomed by our stunning event hostesses before being seated to enjoy a sumptuous 3-course dinner. We arranged gift bags, music and ring entertainment to add to the ambience and create a truly memorable event.
RESULTS
We always sell out this event, within weeks of tickets being released. Every year we add new and interesting ideas to keep it fresh and exciting for guests. And they keep coming back for more. We are now in the planning for the 5th annual Media Fight Night and it will be bigger and better than ever. With 56 media executives taking to the ring and over 1000 guests in attendance, every single year, it’s definitely the hottest ticket in town!
